I have previously written about PYJAMA STYLE and my love for this season's comfiest trend. However, today is all about this seventies pyjama style shirt, rather than loose fitting, patterned trousers, which the trend generally focuses on. I picked up the shirt in a charity shop for just £3 and I knew instantly that its slouchy shape and bold print would be the perfect 'throw-on' piece with some simple skinny jeans and boots. Next I just needed some accessories to finish off the look and I was good to go.
Recently, I have been getting more and more into accessories - I rarely leave the house without some form of neckwear, especially when the neckline is low or the collar is open and today I'm wearing a simple skinny scarf tucked down into the shirt. So, with neckwear sussed and having finally purchased these Ray Ban Round sunglasses that I keep banging on about, it is time to up my earring game.
On shoot day for this outfit, I was in Primark so I took the opportunity to pick up some super cheap gold hoops that I had been craving for a while. Wearing big hoops again makes me nostalgic for my mid-teenage years, pre carefully thought out fashion choices, and my first festival fashion attempts. Of course, gold hoops can be tricky to wear well but I thought that these would be the perfect boho accessory for this seventies style pyjama shirt - and I was right.
The gold hoops, round sunglasses and skinny scarf match the shirt's colours perfectly and really bring the shirt into its own. The fact that this outfit requires minimal effort but is suitable for casual daywear, dinner or a night out means that it is a total winner in my eyes.
Are you reverting to any nostalgic pieces this season? Or are you firmly sticking with new fashion choices?

Your photos are gorgeous, this style suits you so much! The shirt doesn't look like it would be £3, it looks so expensive! The beauty of charity shops, eh? :)
