Dusty Pink Blouse
Location: Redland, Bristol
Hello! It is currently early Sunday evening (I know you're reading this on Monday morning but bear with me), it's pissing it down with rain, my mum is cooking lasagne for dinner and my computer is running about as fast as a tortoise doing backstroke. I have seem to got myself into this routine of taking outfit photos at the weekend and spending Sunday evening editing photos and writing Monday's blog post rather than taking time to relax, which let's face it, is what Sundays are for. Don't get me wrong - I absolutely love blogging but I definitely need to get on top of my content and get ahead of myself. Hopefully this can happen now that I already have quite a few looks shot and in the bank.
So today's look is one that I styled for my recent ASOS HAUL AND TRY ON VIDEO and I liked it so much that I had to share it on here too. Dusty pink has been everywhere this season and I think it going to be the perfect transitional colour going into winter. I hardly own anything pink therefore I was not sure if this blouse would suit me but I think it does! Of course, it goes without saying that I absolutely love the ruffles and pussy bow detailing and although these already feature heavily in my blouse collection, it is a welcome addition thanks to the dusty pink colour.
I decided to "toughen up" the blouse by wearing my boyish, straight washed black jeans and chunky black chelsea boots. I finished the look with a much needed nod to the sixties with this floppy baker boy hat. This is the perfect way of wearing a rather "fussy" blouse in a totally unfussy way.
How do you keep on top of your blogging schedule? How would you style this beautiful blouse?

I love this shade of pink! I'm having a bit of a "pink" moment, so this blouse is right up my street. I always try to have a handful of blog photos tucked away just to keep me ticking over - sometimes I feel like I need a full-time photographer on hand though!

I definitely have a hard time keeping up with blogging while working full time. my weekends are almost exclusively dedicated to blogging, which can get pretty exhausting!

Love love LOVE this outfit on you! I'm usually not one for ruffles now pink hues, but something about this look just appeals to me! And as for keeping on top of my blogging schedule, I try to at least plan all of the posts for the coming week on weekends. Sometimes with a better success than other times though haha xx
Gorgeous gorgeous blouse! I love the idea of toughening it up, although I would probably just wear it with more frilly skirts because I just like too much volume haha. I'm the worst and never shoot looks ahead of time. I just get around to it when I get around to it--what can you do.

Thanks lovely! Yeah I spend a lot of my weekend blogging too - I love it but it can feel like having two full time jobs! x
Thank you my dear! I am glad I've managed to change your mind about pink and ruffles! Yep weekends are spent doing a lot of blogging - I think I need to become more efficient! xx
Thank you hun! Yeah I think this blouse would definitely look good with more ruffles in a girly look! <3
