Hello my lovelies and Happy February! Hooray we made it through the most dreaded month of the year and it only gets better from here! Here is my favourite outfit from the past week, feat my new super cheap (£11!!!) jeans from ASOS, which I LOVE. They are so comfy thanks to the boyish fit and the cropped length is really flattering.

Western vibe accessories are super hot right now and it all starts with the belt. I do love me a western style belt and this one I got a while back. To complete the look I kept the base simple and dark grey while adding tan coloured Chelsea boots and a suede shirt for subtle western vibes.

Coucou mes choux et bon début de février! Enfin, nous avons fini le mois le plus pire de l'année et tout continuera à améliorer à partir de maintenant! Aujourd'hui, je vous présente mon look preferé du moment avec mon nouveau jean d'ASOS super cheap et je le KIFFE! Il est super confortable grâce à sa coupe boyish et la longueur plus courte est flatteuse.  

Des accessories western sont super tendances en ce moment et cela commence avec la ceinture. J'ai acheté celle-ci il y a quelques mois et elle est parfaite. Pour compléter ce look, j'ai gardé une base simple et gris et j'ai mis des bottes brun roux et une chemise en daim de la même couleur pour des vibes westerns subtils.

So exactly a week ago, I was swanning around the streets of Paris wearing sailor stripes and a massive smile on my face. We took these photos in one of my favourite areas - on Ile Saint Louis - and the next to the river setting rather suits this sailor/military vibe that I'm rocking here, dontcha think?

Of course I hinted at my Paris outfit choices in my HOW TO PACK FOR A WEEKEND CITY BREAK post last week but here it is in full glory, with a lovely Parisian backdrop. When in Paris, wear stripes. This is not just a French cliché but a seriously popular print here. I paired my lovely polo neck with a classic denim skirt and my military style Burberry trench and cap.

Alors, il y a une semaine je me baladais dans les rues de Paris pendant que j'ai porté ce look de rayures et un grand sourire. Nous avons pris ces photos dans un de mes quartiers preferes - sur l'Ile Saint Louis - et je pense que le Seine va bien avec cet outfit marin/militaire, vous êtes d'accord ou pas?

Je vous ai déjà montré mes choix d'outfits dans mon poste COMMENT FAIRE VOTRE VALISE POUR UN SEJOUR DE WEEKEND la semaine dernière mais voila celui-ci avec un beau fond parisien. Quand vous êtes à Paris, portez une marinière. Cela n'est pas un cliché français mais un motif que les français portent tellement beaucoup! J'ai mis la mienne avec cette jupe en jean classique, mon trench Burberry et ma casquette militaire.

Right. I am very excited that I finally get to share this tapestry coat with faux fur trimmings with you and talk about its awesomeness! If you follow me on INSTAGRAM (shameless plug, #soznotsoz), then you will have seen glimpses of this beauty but now you get to see it in all its glory. 

This was my last vintage purchase from Paris before I moved to Barcelona and I am so glad I squeezed and squeezed it into my suitcase. I just love the tapestry pattern, festive gold and red colours and of course, the red faux fur collar and cuffs are just the perfect trimmings! Hitting two AW15 trends in one, bam! Of course, such a jacket does all the talking so I'm just wearing a simple high neck top, my suede button down skirt and my lurrverly new suede booties.

ENFIN. Ça me plaît trop que je peux vous montrer et en parler de cette veste magnifique de tapisserie avec des détails de fausse fourrure! Si vous me suivez sur INSTAGRAM, vous aurez déjà vu des petites étincelles de cette belle veste mais maintenant vous pouvez la voir en toute!

Celle-ci était mon dernier achat vintage à Paris avant de déménager à Barcelone et je suis trop contente que j'ai serré ma valise avec elle là dedans. J'aime trop le motif du style tapisserie, les couleurs festives doré et rouge et, bien sûr, le col et les poignets en fausse fourrure rouge sont parfaits! Voilà deux tendances automne-hiver 15 en une veste, OUI. Il faut mettre rien de spécial avec cette veste du coup je l'ai porté cette fois avec un top noir, ma jupe en daim boutonné et mes nouvelles bottes en daim magnifiiiiiques.

It is no secret that I love shoes and this season it is boots in particular that I am obsessing over! Here are my top picks for AW15 that I will be struggling to choose from come pay day next week. I have just bought myself some classic suede-will-go-with-everything boots (which will be featured very soon on 'ere) but it is just not enough. I definitely think I am going to get some fun, disco, shiny boots for the party season and the burgundy leather TOPSHOP ones are heavenly! Too many boots, too little time. Sigh.

Ce n'est pas un secret que je kiffe des chaussures et cette saison je suis obsédée par des bottes! Voilà mes must-haves pour automne-hiver 15 et ce serait dûr de choisir entre tous quand la paie arrive la semaine prochaine! Je viens de m'acheter des bottes noirs en daim qui iront avec tous mais ça ne suffit pas! Je pense que je vais surement acheter des bottes fun et disco pour la saison de fête qui vient et je kiffe trop ces bottes bordeaux de TOPSHOP - elles sont parfaites! Trop de bottes, pas assez de temps. Soupir.

Les Petites Jupes de Prune

When I was in Paris a couple of weeks ago, I did a photo shoot for LES PETITES JUPES DE PRUNE - a young Parisian brand run by the lovely Prune, of course. She makes beautiful, feminine skirts of which I modelled twelve from her autumn/winter capsule collection. Our photographer was the super talented ALICE LEMARIN - who I met through being a regular cat café customer/cat stalker - and it was Alice who suggested me as a model to Prune. We took the majority of the photos (before getting moved along by a grumpy resident) on rue Crémieux - a road of pastel houses where I had been dying to shoot ever since seeing it on AMY's instagram. Quand j'étais à Paris il y a deux semaines, j'ai été mannequin pour un shoot pour la jeune marque parisienne - LES PETITES JUPES DE PRUNE. La styliste, Prune elle-même, crée ces belles jupes très féminines dont lesquelles j'ai été mannequin pour douze de sa collection automne/hiver. J'avais rencontré notre photographe super doué, ALICE LEMARIN, comme cliente régulière du café des chats (où elle travaillait) et c'était Alice qui m'avait proposé comme mannequin à Prune. Nous avons pris la majorité des photos (avant qu'un résident grincheux de la rue nous a fait circuler) à la rue Crémieux - une rue des maisons pastels où ça fait longtemps que je voulais shooter après avoir vu les photos sur instagram d'AMY. Bref, les photos sont magnifiques du coup je veux les partager avec vous.

There is no better place for finding some inspiration than at fashion week so here are my favourite street style looks from Paris Fashion Week. I ran around the beautiful streets of Paris looking for the creme de la creme of fashionable ladies as official PFW reporter for MOTEL ROCKS - the looks are so varied but that is also what's so inspiring.
